Misc. Essentials, A Kitchen Shop opened in Victorian Downtown Hawley, in the Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania Fourth of July weekend, 2005. Our staff, who are all experienced cooks, are happy to assist you in exploring quality culinary products for cooking, baking, entertaining and gifting. We moved from our original 1,000 square foot store in downtown Hawley, to a 3,000 square foot store in uptown Hawley to enable us to offer more product choices.

We have a fully stocked kitchen where we offer product demonstrations, tastings and cooking classes.

Misc. Essentials is in the process of further developing our culinary arts program. At Misc. Essentials, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and a variety of quality products. If we don’t have it, we will try to get it, if we can’t get it, we will help you find a source.  Although, We are confident that we can fulfill most, if not all of your culinary food prep needs. And we are most confident that we can fulfill all of your gifting requirements.
